The Toledo kids appeared on the ShopRite Partners In Caring Cheerios box edition found on the ShopRite shelves in April 2009.

THANKS to the Wakefern Food Corporation, the parent corporation of the ShopRite supermarkets, for having named The Toledo Kids Who Care as a "ShopRite Partner In Caring Hunger-Fighting Hero".  As a reward for being a real-life heroes and showing others what it means to be a caring friends and neighbors, they have been featured on a limited-edition Cheerios box sold exclusively at ShopRite stores.  This special box of Cheerios features other hunger-fighting heroes as well as ShopRite employees who share in their dedication to helping others.

In addition to having their pictures on the Cheerios box, Shongum Elementary School (Randolph, NJ) received 3000 Box Tops for Education from General Mills, and $1500 was donated to the Hope House food pantry (Dover, NJ).
